2021 BFY DAY Video
CANS and Building Futures for Youth are celebrating the close of a successful summer! While we couldn’t get together in our usual manner this year, our BFY Day video gives us a chance to honour the participants of our 2021 BFY Program.
This 30-minute video features a celebration of our 2021 Host Employers and BFY Students along with congratulations from partners, Duncan Williams, President & CEO (Construction Association of Nova Scotia), Marjorie Davison, CEO (Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency) and Kathy Greeno, Director, Career Pathways (Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development). This year also marks BFY’s first Long-Term Host Employer award, which was created to recognize a company’s continued support for the program. The Long-Term Host Employer award was presented to Lindsay Construction for supporting BFY since its inception, hosting more than 30 students over the years.
